Get to Know Michael

Michael Leonel Sifuentes is a Latin-American artist/musician coming right out of the University of Houston with a B.F.A in Acting. Their love of story-telling is rooted in their Hispanic heritage and the stories of their parents and of their adventures and struggles as immigrants to the United States. This love for performance has led them to work on everything from new contemporary works to Classical & Shakespearean texts. They love to bring a sense of joy and fun to every character they portray and that same sense of joy follows and infects everyone in the rehearsal room. They strive to be curious, kind, and a friend to all in and out for the theatre.

“Michael Sifuentes is a multi-talented theatre artist that I have had the pleasure of working with in a number of capacities. Each time I am blown away not only by his many talents and what he brings to each project but by his level of dedication and authenticity. He is also one of the most kind-hearted artists I’ve ever worked
with and brings a contagious, joyful energy into each room and project.”
Laura Moreno (Director in Houston, Texas)
“Michael is deeply dedicated, has an extraordinary work ethic, and is a
leader amongst his peers. As a performer, Michael is engaging, curious, funny, and smart! His jovial personality lights up a room and brings an ease to others. He’s an absolute joy to work with.”
Rosie Ward (Professor of Theatre at Boston Conservatory at Berklee)
“I would choose to work with Michael any chance I'd get because he's not only smart, talented, and dependable, he's a true team player and will improve any room that he's in. I was very happy that he was the recipient of a full-ride scholarship from Prague Shakespeare Company and AccentHelp to study and perform with the PSC Summer Shakespeare
Intensive.”
Jim Johnson (Head of BFA Acting at the University of Houston/ Founder of AccentHelp)
