MADISON ALÍCIA PRENTISS

Get To Know Madison

Madison is an eager, Houston-born actress who seeks genuine connection in and through her work, all while bringing a playfully focused energy to every rehearsal room. While earning her BFA at the University of Houston, Madison discovered her passion and strength for classical works, specifically Shakespeare, and storytelling through movement and stage combat. During her training, she has had the opportunity to work with the Houston Shakespeare Festival, most notably as Celia in As You Like It for their upcoming 2025 season. She has also been seen as Nina in Stupid F*cking Bird, Ann Deever in All My Sons, and Fabian in Twelfth Night. Madison brings honesty and earnestness to every role, whether that be on stage or in front of a camera.

"Madison Prentiss has the tools of an accomplished actor: voice, physicality, and text analysis. She has technique, is always prepared, and brings an admirable work ethic. She commands attention when on stage yet is very generous with her cast mates. I have directed Madie twice in disparate productions. She is poised and affable in the rehearsal room and has a forceful on-stage presence"
Jack Reuler, Founder, Mixed Blood Theatre Company
"In her time at UH, Madison Alícia Prentiss has filled her sprightly charm with a core of strength. Her powers of listening connect her to partners in a moment-to-moment, visceral way."
Jack Young, Artistic Director, Houston Shakespeare Festival
