Chester Rowell is a highly experienced clarinetist and educator from Alvin, Texas. He serves as an Affiliate Artist in Clarinet at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music, a position he has held since September 2003, with over 22 years of teaching and mentoring students. Previously, Chester performed professionally in the Houston Ballet Orchestra, showcasing his skills on both clarinet and bass clarinet. His musical foundation was established at the Eastman School of Music, where he earned a Master of Music in Music Education.
